FIRE DOOR JOINER
Location:Southend-on-Sea
Rate:£210-£220 per day
⏰ Hours: Monday–Friday, 08:00–16:30 / 8 hours paid
Duration:6 weeks
CSCS: Required
Start date : 28.09.2026
We are currently looking for experienced Fire Door Joiners to work on a construction project.
Duties include:
- Installing fire doors and door sets
- Hanging doors and fitting frames
- Installing hinges, handles, closers and other ironmongery
- Installing intumescent strips and smoke seals
- Adjusting and repairing fire doors
- Ensuring doors are correctly fitted and operate properly
- Working from drawings and specifications
- Completing remedial and snagging works
- Recording completed works where required
Requirements:
- Valid CSCS Card
- Proven fire door installation experience
- Good knowledge of fire door components and installation
- Able to work accurately and independently
- 2 checkable references
- Good understanding of site health & safety
